John Piper is the only person I follow on Twitter. I don't really need a blow-by-blow update about dozens of people's lives. "Mary is doing aerobics" interruptions are not something I have time for.

But John Piper's updates arrive at my Google Reader, and they always break into my computer time with useful spiritual insight, a word of encouragement, or a much-needed spiritual kick-in-the-pants.
